A pesar de que las mujeres representan alrededor de la mitad del alumnado universitario,\u00a0todav\u00eda no llegan a representar el 25% del profesorado a tiempo completo<\/strong>. As\u00ed lo ha indicado un estudio publicado por la revista cient\u00edfica \u00abCell Stem<\/a>\u00bb en un estudio publicado la semana pasada<\/a>, en el cual se presentaron los resultados de una investigaci\u00f3n realizada durante cuatro a\u00f1os y en la que participaron m\u00e1s de 500 instituciones acad\u00e9micas en 38 pa\u00edses de Europa, Am\u00e9rica y Australia.<\/p>\n

El estudio titulado \u00abInstitutional Report Cards for Gender Equality: Lessons Learned from Benchmarking Efforts for Women in STEM<\/em>\u00bb ten\u00eda como objetivo crear un sistema de calificaci\u00f3n institucional<\/strong> estableciendo un comparativo y unas bases con las cuales medir la igualdad de g\u00e9nero en el \u00e1mbito acad\u00e9mico del sector TIC. Esto permitir\u00eda a las diferentes instituciones desarrollar pol\u00edticas internas que fomentar\u00eda la igualdad de oportunidades entre mujeres y hombres<\/strong>, dejando a un lado el techo de cristal<\/a> al que se enfrentan las mujeres en este sector.<\/p>\n
